Have you met ... What-nots for Tiny Tots

It's a while since we've had our Have you met ... feature on our blog, but we thought it was high time we brought it back to introduce you to a few of our regular stallholders. Today's post features the lovely Kerry from What-nots for Tiny Tots. Not only does Kerry make a range of fabulous toys and accessories for little kids, she is our face-painter in residence and helps to create the craft activities in the Children's Corner. Kerry recently joined The Handmade Show's committee.

Some of Kerry's innovative products include her Treasure Pockets - tiny pouches on belts for holding Very Important Things, Tooth Fairy Pillows and crayon rolls for portable craft time. She also makes a lovely range of useful baby items including tiny pre-walker shoes, pram covers and more.

Take some time to get to know What-nots for Tiny Tots...

1) Tell us a little bit about What-nots for Tiny Tots and the items you create.
It all started when my little boy needed his first pair of pre-walkers shoes. I was so impressed with how well they turned out that I ended up making a pair for all the babies in my mother's group! My product range has evolved quite a lot since then, to include lots of 'take-along' and imaginative play toys.

2) Where do you find inspiration for your creations?
My kids are my inspiration. Every product in my range has been road tested by my Tots before being taken to market. I try to design items that both delight and occupy little people.

3) How does the market experience contribute to your business?
I love talking about my products! I may seem a bit biased, but I think they are awesome! And I love watching them go home and making kids happy
4) Which one of your items should everyone have in their home?
Do I have to pick just one? Then I'd probably have to say a Custom made Dolly. He/she can be made to resemble the child owner and even have the same name. They can become lifelong friends!
5) When not at The Handmade Show, where can we find you?
My Facebook page is www.facebook.com/What.notsforTinyTots and my website www.whatnotsfortinytots.com.au. It's currently under construction, but should be available soon. You can also purchase online at www.hand-made.com.au/what-notsfortinytots.

Thanks Kerry for taking the time to answer our
Fabulous Five Questions.
